Terms and conditions
Welcome to IberLuffa. These Terms and Conditions govern access to, browsing of and use of the website hosted at the domain luffa-sponge.com and the purchase of the products offered through it. By using the website you fully accept this document. If you disagree with any of its points, please do not use the site or make purchases.

2. Purpose
This document governs the distance selling of handcrafted loofah products (natural sponges, sets, packs and custom bundles) between IberLuffa and the user, as well as the use of the services associated with the website (customer account, newsletter, blog, contact).
3. Purchase process
- The user chooses the products and adds them to the cart.
- Before completing the order they will see a summary with prices, quantity discounts applied and taxes.
- After entering the shipping details and choosing a payment method, they will receive confirmation by email.
- The contract is deemed concluded at the moment IberLuffa confirms acceptance of the order.
4. Prices and taxes
All prices are shown in euros (€) and include the applicable VAT. Shipping costs are calculated at the final checkout step based on the address and the chosen method. Free shipping over 60 € in mainland Spain and 80 € in the European Union.
5. Quantity discounts
We automatically apply a quantity discount to each product line (excluding packs and custom bundles):

6. Payment
We accept debit and credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay and, on orders shipping to Spain, Bizum. Payment is processed by Stripe in a secure, encrypted environment: your card details never pass through our servers and are not stored on them.
7. Shipping
Details of timeframes, carriers and coverage areas are available in the Shipping and returns tab. Once payment is confirmed the order is prepared within 24 to 72 business hours.
8. Right of withdrawal
The consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the order without needing to give a reason. Products must be returned in their original condition, unused and with their packaging. More detail in the Shipping and returns tab.
9. Warranty
Products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity of three years from delivery. If you receive a defective item or one that does not match your order, contact us and we will resolve the issue at no cost to you.
10. Intellectual property
All website content (text, images, logos, designs, videos, code) is the property of IberLuffa or its licensors. Total or partial reproduction without express authorisation is prohibited.
11. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction, to the Courts and Tribunals of Pontevedra. Consumers may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Privacy policy
At IberLuffa we take the protection of your personal data very seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we process it, for how long and what your rights are, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

2. Data we collect
- Identification and contact data: first name, surname, email, phone, postal address.
- Purchase data: order history, products viewed, amount.
- Payment data: processed directly by the payment provider; we do not store card numbers.
- Browsing data: IP address, device, browser, pages visited, cookie data.
3. Purposes of processing
- Manage your order, shipping and after-sales.
- Handle enquiries sent through the contact form or by email.
- Send you the newsletter and commercial communications, only if you have given your explicit consent.
- Comply with legal obligations (invoicing, accounting, tax).
- Improve how the website works and prevent fraud.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based, depending on the case, on the performance of the purchase contract, the user's explicit consent (newsletter, non-essential cookies), compliance with legal obligations or the legitimate interest in improving the service.
5. Data retention
We keep the data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. Tax data is kept for the period required by tax law (at least 4 years). Marketing data is kept until the user withdraws their consent.
6. Recipients
Your data may be disclosed to the following categories of recipients:
- Logistics and transport companies, to deliver your order.
- Stripe, which processes payment and prevents fraud.
- hCaptcha, which tells people apart from bots on our forms.
- Our hosting and email providers, which store and carry the information on our behalf.
- Email marketing tools, only if you have subscribed and for as long as you remain subscribed.
- Public authorities where the law requires it.
7. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to us at info@iberluffa.com, putting "GDPR" in the subject and attaching a copy of your ID or equivalent document. You can also file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

2. Conditions of use of the site
Access to the website is free. The user agrees to make appropriate use of the content and services, without using them for unlawful activities, activities harmful to the rights of third parties or contrary to good faith and public order. Any attempt to damage, overload or interfere with the normal operation of the site is prohibited.
3. External links
The website may contain links to third-party sites (social networks, payment tools, logistics platforms). IberLuffa is not responsible for the content or privacy policies of those sites. We recommend you review their terms before using them.
4. Limitation of liability
IberLuffa strives to keep the website up to date and free of errors. However, it does not guarantee the absence of interruptions, viruses or faults. To the extent permitted by law, IberLuffa is released from any liability for damages arising from the use of the site.
5. Intellectual and industrial property
All elements making up the website (graphic design, source code, logos, images, text, trademarks) are the property of IberLuffa or their respective owners. Any use, reproduction, distribution or modification requires written authorisation.
6. Changes
IberLuffa reserves the right to change the content of this Legal Notice at any time. The version in force will always be the one published on this page.
7. Applicable law
This legal notice is governed by Spanish law. To resolve any dispute the parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Pontevedra, unless the applicable law provides otherwise.
Cookie policy
This website uses cookies and browser storage only for what it needs in order to work: remembering your basket, keeping you signed in and taking payment securely. We use no analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not share your browsing with third parties for commercial purposes.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that the site stores on your device (computer, phone or tablet) when you visit, so that your browser can be recognised on later visits. Alongside cookies we use browser storage, which does something similar but is not sent with every request to the server. Both are listed below.

Third parties. These are set by the payment gateway and by the system that protects our forms from bots. They load only on the pages where they are needed.

3. Managing cookies
Since everything we use today is essential, the two options in the notice shown on your first visit —“Essential only” and “Accept all”— do the same thing. If we ever add anything that is not essential, that notice is where you will decide. You can delete or block cookies from your browser at any time:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies.
- Firefox: Preferences → Privacy & Security.
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy.
- Edge: Settings → Privacy, search and services.
Bear in mind that if you block them entirely, the basket and access to your account will stop working.
4. Third parties and their policies
Payment is processed by Stripe and our forms are protected by hCaptcha. Each keeps its own privacy policy, which we recommend you read: stripe.com/privacy and hcaptcha.com/privacy.
Shipping and returns
We prepare every order with care in our workshop in Caldas de Reis. Here we explain the timeframes, the rates and how to proceed if you need to return an item.
1. Shipping zones
We ship throughout Spain (mainland, the Balearic and Canary Islands), Portugal, Andorra and the rest of the European Union. For shipments to other destinations, write to us beforehand at info@iberluffa.com and we will confirm feasibility and rates.
2. Preparation times
Once payment is confirmed, we prepare the order within 24 to 72 business hours. Orders placed on Fridays after 12:00 (CET) or during the weekend are processed the following Monday.

4. Order tracking
You will receive an email with the tracking number when the parcel leaves the workshop. If you need help with tracking, write to us and we will provide it.
5. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason within 14 calendar days of receiving the order. To exercise it, let us know by email stating the order number and the reason. We will send you the instructions for the return.
6. Return conditions
- Products must be returned in their original condition, unused, with their packaging and labels.
- For hygiene reasons, returns of opened or used products that come into direct contact with the skin are not accepted.
- Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, except in the case of a shipping error or a defective product.
7. Refund
Once the goods are received and checked, we process the refund within a maximum of 14 days using the same payment method used for the purchase.
8. Defective or incorrect product
If you receive a defective product or one different from the one ordered, contact us within 48 hours of receipt by sending photographs to info@iberluffa.com. We will resolve the issue with a replacement, repair or refund at no cost to you.
